This Privacy Policy describes how useTool (usetool.space), operated by Atlas Yiğit Aydın, collects, uses, and shares information when you visit and use our website. By using useTool, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1a. Tool input data

All tools on useTool run entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. Any text, files, or data you enter into a tool is processed locally on your device. This data is never sent to our servers, logged, or stored.

1b. Analytics data

We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to collect anonymous, aggregate data about page visits and performance. This data includes:

• Pages visited and time spent on pages
• General geographic region (country/region level only)
• Browser type and device type
• Referral source (how you arrived at the site)

1c. Advertising

useTool may display advertisements served by third-party advertising networks, including Google AdSense. These advertising partners may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to useTool and other sites on the internet. useTool uses the following cookies:

• Theme preference — A single localStorage entry (theme) stores your light/dark mode preference. This is not a cookie and is not transmitted to any server.
• Advertising cookies — If advertisements are displayed, Google AdSense may set cookies to serve and measure personalized ads. These are governed by Google's privacy policy.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of advertising on the site but will not affect the tools themselves.

useTool uses the following third-party services:

4. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Since we do not collect personally identifiable information beyond what third-party analytics and advertising services process, requests should be directed to those services directly.

California users (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information is collected and to opt out of the sale of personal information. useTool does not sell personal information.

5. Children's privacy

useTool is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the site, contact us and we will take steps to remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of useTool after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
